Americansweets Sweden AB was started in January 2014. The idea came from David Antoun who ran Davids and Danis Film och Godis in Vällingby center who started importing American sweets from the USA. The goods quickly became very popular and the rumor of American sweets spread quickly throughout Stockholm. Eventually, customers started coming to Vällingby from the other side of Stockholm to buy the exclusive products. Other service stores also began ordering goods for their stores from David and Dani's film and sweets. This aroused interest in starting a business that is engaged in importing American sweets to sell as a wholesaler in Sweden.


In January 2015, Americansweets Sweden AB was started by Dani Antoun and Philip Flärvall with David Antoun as salesman. Even before the company was founded, David had created a solid network of customers and suppliers in the United States.


We rented our first premises at Sorterargatan 14 in Vällingby. A warehouse of 50m². This would be enough to stock our first container. While waiting for the container to be delivered, we trained in import and customs. We signed agreements with transport companies, the National Food Administration and the Swedish Customs. We contacted some medium-sized companies and in this way secured some first customers who were now eagerly waiting for our first delivery.


Everything went as planned and already after 2 months we had a new container on its way across the Atlantic. Our turnover soared and we grew at lightning speed.


Today, US Grocer AB is ran by the Antoun brothers. Today, we collaborate with cutting-edge expertise in the industry and always strive to develop and optimize our range of American sweets, soft drinks, snacks and food.


We start 2017 by moving to larger premises of over 1,100m². We will make sure to fill the warehouse with new and exciting products for the Swedish people to put their teeth into. In 2017, we will set the standard for the coming years and we want to reach out to all stores that feel they want to throw themselves into the American range and expand its customer base to the maximum.


"Exclusive products at a reasonable price" is US Grocers' motto and we place emphasis on all our customers, large and small. We constantly strive to develop the company and our range.
